Welcome to the Jasper High School Social Studies Department!

It is our goal to help our students understand their relationship with the physical world in which they live as well as the history that has shaped who we are. It is our goal to help our students better understand what it means to be human in a complex and dynamic world. We strive to move the students in our classrooms beyond simply knowing the proper facts and definitions of our subject matter. We want them to see the relationships that make up our world. Our hope is that when students leave the Jasper Social Studies department they are better world citizens
